Studio Béluga guest curators: Hannah Zanovello and Tanha Gomes

ROCKS is a bilingual project which is comprised of a curated art publication and a two month exhibition at Theatre Sainte Catherine Café-Bar with Studio Beluga. This project collects artworks by emerging artists and creative writers who are primarily Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal based. ROCKS is an homage to the rocks we call home, collect, hold, and think about.

The creative writing and artworks that are included in this project are photographs which depict installation, performance, and observations about notions of home, layering, infinity, and climate. The intent of this project is to emphasize the mundane and to further elaborate on the untold story of rock and its continuous life cycle from sediment to mountain and back again.
