Now we’ve called out to the community to create a regular screening event that showcases the art of moving images. And after the incredible success of our first night in January, we’re back for more in March!

The Found Footage Film Festival

Monday, March 24th, 9:30PM

The Found Footage Festival is a one-of-a-kind event showcasing videos found at garage sales and thrift stores and in warehouses and dumpsters throughout North America. Curators Joe Pickett (The Onion) and Nick Prueher (The Colbert Report) take audiences on a guided tour of their latest and greatest VHS finds, providing live commentary and where-are-they-now updates on the people in these videotaped obscurities. From the curiously-produced industrial training video to the forsaken home movie donated to Goodwill, the Found Footage Festival resurrects these forgotten treasures and serves them up in a lively celebration of all things found.

The Get Happy Hour With Judy!

This is a heart-warming play written by Kimberly Roberts about the story of Judy Garland as told by her cover. Spend an evening with Judy Garland, America’s Sweetheart as she tells of the TV show she’d preferred doing. Get to know again the Judy we all love, without all the booze and drugs. Share song, laughs, and tears with Judy as portrayed by Kimberly Roberts, a Vanity Fair featured Garland doppelganger and featuring the directorial debut of Toronto stage star, Sarah Strange.

Geneviève Racette EP Launch

Singer-songwriter, Geneviève Racette, will be presenting her first EP May 14th at the Théâtre Sainte-Catherine. Graduate from l’École nationale de la chanson de Granby, finalist of L’Étoile montante Ford competition in 2013 and a member of the band Les Gourmandes, Geneviève will be presenting her comfy folk music accompanied by her musicians.
