NKASI OGBONNAH (TORONTO)<\/p>\n
Nkasi is an alumna of The Second City’s Mainstage. She was a member of Toronto Fringe Festival\u2019s \u201cWoke \u2018N Broke,\u201d which earned Best Ensemble from NOW Magazine. Nkasi along with her dramaturge, Ajahnis Charley were founders of Untitled Black Sketch Project, Canada\u2019s first and only all-Black sketch ensemble. She has performed at notable festivals such as JFL, Montreal Sketchfest and NXNE. Her dream is someone from the Canadian Space Agency sees the show and hires her for something… anything. They hope to make you proud.\r\n\r\nBIG OL' MESS (DENVER, CO) \r\n\r\nBig Ol\u2019 Mess is a sketch comedy group from Denver, CO, but a Big Ol\u2019 Mess show is not your typical sketch show. Their performances range from smart to dumb, leaving audiences cackling and enamored. Each show is carefully curated with original soundtracks and transition music \u2014 all created by the performers themselves \u2014 yet the vibe stays fun and loose, as these veteran improvisers welcome discovery and hilarious chaos within every sketch. No two Big Ol\u2019 Mess shows are the same, but see one, and you\u2019ll be in love.\r\n\r\nJON BLAIR (TORONTO)\r\n\r\nJon Blair is an extraordinarily convincing scarecrow made of mop handles, old clothes and crumpled up alt-weekly magazines which, when properly jostled around, looks very much like a man performing absurdist character-driven solo sketch comedy. It has previously won Best of Fest and Best Newcomer at Montreal Sketchfest, toured at festivals across Canada and the US, and somehow landed a recurring role on the CBS sitcom Ghosts.
