Part political satire, part sketch show, and with a generous dose of dread about our planet’s future, Potato Potato takes the issues facing Canadians today and presents them with a comedic, oftentimes musical, spin.

Potato Potato was established for the 2019 Toronto Fringe Festival, with It’s Getting Hot in Here! (My Entertainment World Favourable Review, Chosen for Second City’s JCB Series). In 2021 they forayed into the digital world with You Can Do It/ Put Your MASK Into It! (Parton and Pearl favourable review) and Potato Potato Presents: Potato Potato (Nominated for The Best of Fest, TO Sketchfest 2022). They performed in Toronto Sketchfest (2023, 2024 [best of fests showcase], 2025), Montreal Sketchfest (2024, 2025), in the Second City Spotlight Series, and as the winners of the 2024 Sketch to the Death competition. They have been seen at the Just For Laughs Festival and selling out their variety show Tandem Jump and Friends at Theatre Sainte-Catherine. At Montreal Sketchfest they have received the Best Local Troupe award twice in 2023 and 2025. They hope to make you proud.

BIG OL' MESS (DENVER, CO)

Big Ol’ Mess is a sketch comedy group from Denver, CO, but a Big Ol’ Mess show is not your typical sketch show. Their performances range from smart to dumb, leaving audiences cackling and enamored. Each show is carefully curated with original soundtracks and transition music — all created by the performers themselves — yet the vibe stays fun and loose, as these veteran improvisers welcome discovery and hilarious chaos within every sketch. No two Big Ol’ Mess shows are the same, but see one, and you’ll be in love.

JON BLAIR (TORONTO)

Jon Blair is an extraordinarily convincing scarecrow made of mop handles, old clothes and crumpled up alt-weekly magazines which, when properly jostled around, looks very much like a man performing absurdist character-driven solo sketch comedy. It has previously won Best of Fest and Best Newcomer at Montreal Sketchfest, toured at festivals across Canada and the US, and somehow landed a recurring role on the CBS sitcom Ghosts. Also the mop part of the mop is its hair.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_button button_url="https://thepointofsale.com/tickets/tsc260508002?lang=en" url_new_window="on" button_text="Tickets" button_alignment="center" admin_label="Button" _builder_version="4.27.6" _module_preset="default" hover_enabled="0" global_colors_info="{}" sticky_enabled="0"][/et_pb_button][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
[19,335
post-13513","tribe_events","type-tribe_events","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","tribe_events_cat-music","tribe_events_cat-musique-en","cat_music","cat_musique-en
["GET
