MONTREAL SKETCHFEST WITH BEACON OF HOPE (MONTREAL), 2 SAME GUYS (BC), & SARAH BENNETT (TORONTO)

Two friends, two words: avant-garde.
Montrealers Marty and Nicky are award winning weirdos. Montreal Sketchfest’s Best New Comer 2024, former members of Pickle Party, Little Strawberry Bitch and Ricky they’ve made appearances at OFF-JFL, Toronto Sketchfest, Big City Improv Festival (Toronto), Montreal Pride Festival and the inaugural Simmer Festival with Imago Theatre where they debuted their short play Mommy i$$ue$.
2 SAME GUYS (BC)
Michelle Hart and Allie Entwistle have both been performing sketch comedy for over a decade. Their credits include Just For Laughs Vancouver, The Second City, Toronto Sketchfest, The Portland Sketch Comedy Festival, and MSC Cruise Lines. They’ve been performing apart for years, afraid of how powerful they would become if they came together on stage, but have decided to risk it all this year to perform together just for you at Montreal Sketchfest. The result? A hybrid show where they each perform their own solo character work, before bringing their characters together for scenes that burn so bright, you legally shouldn’t watch them for too long. The result is part solo show, sketch collaboration, and part live experiment in whether two actual maniacs can share a stage.
