mai 1@22:00 - 23:15
LAURA BUCHANAN (MONTREAL)

Laura Buchanan is a multipissanary artiss who has performed in many places on many occasions. Most notably, she was seen performing at Lions Gate Hospital, starring in the showcase « Being Born », in the year 1817. Other festivals include Just For Laughs, OFF-JFL, Montreal Sketchfest, Big City Improv, Big Pond, and Vancouver International Improv Festival.

ABBY LONG (AND SO DO YOU) (MONTREAL)

Here to remind you that you belong, Abby’s been gracing the stage since 2018 with the “I belong and so do you” vibe. A chaotic ND mix of fun and dramatic, she has been affectionately labeled by friends as an “actual factual real life Disney princess” through vibes tho there is no official affiliation (she’s too quirky anyways).

SARAH CONWAY (TORONTO)

Sarah Conway is a Toronto-based comedian, actor, and writer with roots in Vancouver and St. John’s. She is heavily inspired by DIY and alternative comedy, with influences ranging from CODCO to Conner O’Malley. She strives to make comedy shows that feel like punk shows, full of abandon. Her work is raw, earnest, and deeply silly. She finds inspiration in both her own experiences and the dumbest stuff she can think up.

From burlesque to live music to characters grounded and absurd, Sarah brings mischief and delight to the stage in a sort of live-theatre appetizer platter. She explores the beauty in mundanity, the complex and painful idiosyncrasies of everyday life, through the dumbest bits she can think of. Sarah Conway reaches for low-hanging fruit on a sky-high ladder and NO she is not working at heights certified!!!

As an actor, Sarah has worked in theatres from coast to coast in classical comedies like The Flying Doctor and one-woman dramas like The Shape of a Girl. She has appeared on CBC’s Son of a Critch as both Reporter and Local Reporter. Sarah has performed at sketch shows across Canada as well as at Toronto Sketch Fest, Newfoundland Sketch Fest, Ladyfest Montreal, and the Cam Wyllie Sketch Comedy Invitational. Using methods like lying and cheating, she snagged the victory at the 2026 Sketch To The Death competition in Toronto.

SMALL FISH (OTTAWA)

Lasers! Horses! Dolly Parton? Small Fish is a living room dance routine gone nuclear. We’re gonna tackle Real Stuff™, like gender, existentialism, and third cousins. Plus, we’re from Ottawa. Don’t you wanna see what people from OTTAWA are like???

Glenys Marshall (she/her)(beautiful libra woman) and Maggie May Harder (they/them)(little boy running around with scissors) have combined their skills of sketch, improv, stand-up and music to create some material that’s buck absolutely shit wild. At MTL Sketchfest, you’ll just see our sketch. Unless you hate it, in which case it’s actually totallyyyyyy improv hahahahah cool ok got it?!!

The duo has headlined at the Great Canadian Theatre Company and featured at the 2025 Montreal and Toronto Sketch Comedy Festivals, Capital Pride Festival, and Debaser’s Pique. They won the Queer Jury’s Choice at Ottawa Fringe, they’ve sold over 3000 tickets and SOLD OUT 20+ shows since their debut in 2023.
